      I would tell them that you will come in if you are in the area but will not make a special trip to correct their mistake. If they don't like it well that's tough. If they are on the way home for you just stop in and do it otherwise I wouldn't make a special trip especially if they are unwilling to compensate you. Just like their time yours is sort one thing too. I know mine is.

        Update: I took care of the paperwork. Was in the area anyways, so I took care of it.

        Signed a backdated to the date of pick up of said pistol, safe handling demo form with the CA DOJ logos on it. Didn't have to do the demo at all, just signed and left.

          I am not sure whats worse, having a missing form during an audit or admitting to them having you backdate a form.
