    Hello all, i had a quastion about forward grips are they illegal to put on ur gun in CA?

    Yes, if you have a detachable magazine, semi automatic centerfire rifle.

      depends on what kind of gun.

      if pistol, makes it an AOW and an AW if semi-auto.

      if semi-auto rifle with a detachable magazine, makes it an unregistered AW, unless it was already a registered AW.

      Anything else, most likely legal.

        And I believe that they are also illegal on pistols.

          well, i bought the AR off of this site, and it has a mag lock on it so that means that i could rite?

                          Has anyone tried the tactical potato? I think it looks like it would be pretty comfortable. Form follows function and what not.
