online gun auctions?

I have bought through Gunbroker and AA, no problems with either.

I can recall Gunbroker pulling a few auctions after people pointed out that a person was selling a rifle with pictures from books or online references.

I have seen a few stopped - I believe due to complaints that the rifle in question was humped.

I have used GunsAmerica to buy a few rifles - more like an ad than an auction - you can either buy at their price or make a lower offer.

The only other auction site I know of is Manion's International Auction house. I have never used and it seems to have little traffic on it.

Some good stuff can be found on just regular store front sites. The amount of stuff you can find online is only limited by the amount of money you have - I am constantly broke.

Completed my first Auction Arms transaction for a Colt Woodsman not too long ago. No problems with the sale. I'll pick up the gun from the FFL next week. Looked great for the price. Better than anything locally available yet. Even after the FFL receipt fee and the CA gimme-money-and-loose-your-privacy charge.

Have not completed anything via GB yet. But I am sure I will sometime. Same for ProxyBid and GunsAmerice. Though GA seems a bit pricey across everything listed.

Like another other auction site I would check out the person and/or item before bidding.

I used gunbroker once. I met the guy face to face it was a really smooth transaction.

Used Auction Arms to but my Colt Woodsman. Totally satisfied.
