    Monster Vault rules!

I was trying to respond to another post, but it appears it is too old. so... I will start a new thread to get this information out.

I do not work for Hilltop Workshop, LLC, I have not been paid by them to review their product. What I am, is a happy and satisfied customer.

    Monster Vault is awesome!
Steve Edmondson, owner of Hilltop Workshop, LLC and creator of the Monster Vault is a stand up guy. He cares about his customers, and a quick phone call to him can verify this. This safe is also made in the USA, not China like the AMSEC competitor. The cheaper AMSEC under bed safe is also smaller than the Monster Vault. On principal of Made in the USA alone, I purchased this under bed gun vault.
I live in Hawaii so I paid over $200 to ship this in by boat (UPS wanted $500) on top of the price, and I am still completely satisfied with my purchase. The owner (Steve) drove my Monster Vault to the freight forwarder I used just to help me save money. How many companies can say they do that for their customers? Not many... I live on the 2nd floor in an apartment, so a full size stand up safe is out of the question. The Monster Vault keeps my kids out, thieves out, and my Home Defense Weapons at my finger tips.
Like here on this forum, I have seen others complain about the price, and say that it's more expensive then their Lowes safe. Well, all I can say is... Safes at Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, Sams Club, Sports Authority and the like, are absolute CRAP! You get what you pay for, and I am completely happy with my purchase. Can you install your Lowes safe in your SUV or truck? No? Well the Monster Vault can be installed in a vehicle for a just $99 more.
If you are looking for something to keep your valuables and firearms at your fingertips, this Monster Vault is for you. If you want a cheap safe that makes you feel more secure but probably no better, go ahead and buy that crap from Lowes.
A real good quality safe is an investment, plan on spending $5000+. How many of you do this? Not many... If this Monster Vault fits your needs, great. If not, don't compare it to something that it is not.
Is the Monster Vault a safe that promises you fire protection? No, its not. The cheap safes don't do much to protect from this either, and they also make it look like it's better than it is, all cosmetics. The Monster Vault does not pretend to be something it is not.

Watch this video, then tell me how you feel about your Lowes safe...

I would never buy a safe from a big box store and things like this confirm that. I buy my safes from top quality American companies only.

I have a monster safe too - within my family, we have 3 of them.

Agree that Steve is an excellent guy who makes an excellent product. My only complaint is that the bolt release handle feels like a cheap plastic. Hasn't broken yey, but it does feel a bit flimsy.

          Really difficult
          post to read
          because of awkward
formatting and structure. But I guess the OP is saying
          to check out Monster Vault.

There is no way I'd pay $700 for that sheet metal box.

I live in Hawaii, not California. The only reason that I posted my experience, is because people were talking **** about something they knew nothing about.

                        OP, think "paragraphs".

Other than that, move the bed, pry it off the floor, and 2 guys can carry it out and toss it in the back of a pickup. Pneumatic cutting tool to open it.

Or you can just pry it open on the spot. If its bolted down you're going to have plenty of leverage.
