Think of it this way... When the US was planning to send the 1st person into space... they realized the pen would not work due to lack of gravity... they put the best minds to work on the issue; and after spending $1million - they came up with the space pen (a pen that does not need gravy to feed the ink).

When the Russians were faced with the same dilemma - they used a pencil.



I know I COULD take the trigger guard off... but what fun is that when I can spend more money and get one that is curved - and will fit my hands when I do - or do not wear gloves.

Which changes my point... well... not at all...

You will have those people who - will spend extra; time, effort and money to invent a new product - to do the same thing than can be done with an existing product. Because they believe they are creating something of greater value than by not creating it.
