    Irony abounds....

The AMC Grapevine theater where this is showing is generally boycotted by the north Texas concealed carry crowd because AMC theaters in Texas are all posted with the dreaded "30.06" signage, which specifically targets the holders of Texas CHLs, making it illegal for a CHL holder to carry their concealed handgun past the sign and into the theater. Since we are, by definition, a law-abiding bunch, we obey the signs and spread our money around elsewhere.

I donated to the crowdfunding campaign for this movie early on, but I have also vowed to never give my money to businesses that think I'm a greater danger to them or their customers than common criminals are.........because it is not a violation of TPC 30.06 for a criminal to carry their illegally concealed weapon past a 30.06 sign. They are violating other laws, but not that one. That sign guarantees that the only people who will be armed in that theater will be those who are illegally armed. Or cops.....and, with all due respect to Texas LEOs, the statistics show that CHL holders in Texas not only commit crimes at a lower rate than the general population, we commit crimes at a lower rate than LEOs do.

If you want a hint, the Tinseltown Theater in Grapevine is not only not posted with 30.06 signs, it has a history of showing indie-films with conservative or faith-based messages. If I were you, I would make it a point to see if your distribution network can get Tinseltown added to your list and show the move there. I would then be more than happy to buy tickets for other people to see this movie, as well as seeing it myself, so long as I don't have to be subjected to 30.06 signs.

When do you expect the AMC theatres will show Assaulted in their list of coming attractions and/or have tickets available for sale?

As of this AM the Orange AMC-30 still doesn't show the movie as a coming attraction.

Received an email back from Tugg regarding a showing in Van Nuys at the Plant 16. Will reach out to Kris and Tugg after work today to get things finalized.

ETA: There are only six days left to fill the theater. Based on the other Tugg event interest level, it may be best to just attend an already scheduled Tugg.

ETA: Burbank opened more seats -not going to pursue this at this time.

                    Hi Guys,

Would there be any chance of this film being shown here in Las Vegas, NV?

I put in a TUGG request. Havent heard back from them yet. I also notified the Boulevard Cinemas here in Lancaster to get the film as they playindie films all the time along withthe major films. The Blvd Theater is a very nice small theater with lounging recliners as seats stadium type and they serve bear and wine in 3 of their 4 screens. Nice place and love to go lcal and see it. We shall see.

As a kickstarter backer, I'm so excited to see the ticket sales of the TUGG events.

Of the ones listed on calguns as of this posting:
Rancho Cucamonga: 43 sold, 35 to go
San Francisco: 33 sold, 45 to go
Bakersfield: 32 sold, 41 to go
San Diego: 50 sold, 28 to go
Tustin: 64 sold, 14 to go
Sacramento: 63 sold, 39 to go
San Jose: 78 sold CONFIRMED - only 24 seats left total

Are there any early sales numbers for the non TUGG events? I figured those would be more of a walk up and buy your tickets but I figured I'd ask.

BTW, I'm wearing my Assaulted shirt to the showing for sure.
