Casa Don Diego's is a great place. I remember all the ads from growing up in Chula Vista. You can count me in on a before or after CGN meet.

Casa Don Diego's is bomb! Grew up going there with the family for weekend breakfasts, than as I grew older a stop at krazy kevins R/C shop.

Just got a ticket. I'll be in Carlsbad/Encinitas area and would like to hitch a ride with somebody and hit Casa Don Diego's afterwards to meet some fellow CG'ers. I should be getting off work around 5:30 on the 20th

Also, im glad you guys are coming, just remember, we need to buy those seats, so going forward, im calling out to all calgunners in North county, put aside the small inconveniences and join us, theres at least 2 or 3 people offering carpools or even free rides, and im sure you will all have fun at my place, so help out the cause and buy some tickets!

Hopefully this isn't the wrong place to ask what may be seen as an outlandish question but how well spent is any calgunners time seeing this movie? We all obviously are against any new regulation on our rights/sport/hobby, but what good does this movie do for us? Instead of buying tickets ourselves, shouldn't we be buying tickets for people who we know are on the fence/anti gun? From what I have read on this sub forum, the assaulted movie is being marketed towards the wrong people. Please correct/inform me if I am wrong. -Chris

I didn't watch the promo Chris, I had the same concerns and concluded you could gift a ticket to a friend "on the fence" but I'd rather gift a ticket to someone I know will appreciate it and learn a few things from it.

I suspect little directly, but I'm the type that would enjoy a beautiful afternoon in Poway for the 2A meet. You may not have read some of my other CG posts, but I'm a staunch patriot.

This administration, worst ever, is carving away your liberties faster than you can count - and is setting rules in place to make that loss even faster.

I see a positive in this, spending time and getting to know local like minded citizens. I fear the time will come that this small unity will become overlooked.

Reloading components may not be safe either.
On the other topic, i may be wrong but I would hope that if we fill up this one time viewing, then the theaters will consider playing the movie for a short season at least?
If that happened then the movie would automatically get more exposure to the general public.

I realize it may be difficult but it would be nice to standardize on the Don Diego's visit either before or after the movie. I've seen posts indicating decisions to do both. Heck maybe there will be enough interest in a combination event to have a group before and a group after...
