Can't find what does not exist.

Whatever non-LEOs may do that does not result in an arrest never gets tallied - why report 'I scared a guy away when I put my hand on my gun'? So, there is no way to conclusively document the 'Armed civilians stop more crimes than police officers' assertion.

While I agree with Librarian's sentiments, today you can find a study to support just about anything, or be applied to support a given point. Of course, every result is subject to the conditions of the event and the failures of the study. Enjoy.

As much as gun control advocates might wish otherwise, their attacks are running out of ammo. With private firearm ownership at an all-time high and violent crime rates plunging, none of the scary scenarios they advanced have materialized.

True. But as I noted,
