This is why you finish unpacking

So my wife decided to finaly finish unpacking today from our move last September. We had maybe 5 or so bins with nothing really important (or so I thought) so they just sat in an empty room till today. Here is what I found in the bottom of one of the bins. Every now and then you get lucky.

Funny you should post this today.
This morning the same thing happened to me but with 45ACP. Getting ready to head out for a little shooting with some buddies, I came across some 25yo ammo. 230FMJ ran just great.
My better half says I have duplicates when she organizes my ammo, it's been a running joke for quite a while now. Sometimes I just loose track of what I've bought.

                        I envy people like you.

I'm so anal (OCD?) about my ammo that I have to populate my spreadsheets every time I add to the inventory. Then I have to count and adjust after each range trip.

Chances of finding a surprise like you did today are nil.

I thought about tracking ammo like you but I know myself and I would never keep up with it.

Now I just need to find room for the new ammo in my 22lr section
