So if i'm going to carry at a baby shower, I'm gonna shower first right,,,, do I clean the sludge off my weapon before I go to the shower ? I have a soft water thing, does that help with the sludge not being sluggish from a steamy shower or do I man up and take a cold shower - no steam no sludge ?

Good thing I live in a safe area

I never ( ) go to the ****ter without a gun. But the bathroom gets so humid with the shower, I know it can't be good. What do you people do?
We are in the most crappy situation on the crapper... I have a colt 32 handy to wipe the intruders with. Think about it you are relaxing with your pants down if you had one on....

"Perception is everywhere in life".....I actually agree with that.

Blind to what in can reveal......Not blind, also not paranoid.

I know, I know...I am probably one of the only people that post here that actually keeps my guns in the safe.

I suppose I have a false sense of security and I am just inviting an unprovoked attack by not "crappin with my 6 gun".

If my last day comes while I am in the shower by means of an armed attack then at least my body will be clean.

Well, I keep one available upstairs and downstairs...don't think I've felt a need to have on in the chitter, but, having said that, not so long ago a woman shot and killed a guy who attacked her in the shower. She had no gun in there and had to fight her way to her gun in a dresser. She got lucky.

Also not long ago, there was a home invasion as I recall. Homeowner was an ex LEO. The homeowner asked the invader to use the bathroom, and the bad guy allowed it. Homeowner came back out with a handgun and shot the intruder after being shot in the face himself. Not a bad tactic I suppose...to plead you're sick and have to use the bathroom, where you retrieve your firearm.

Makes one think keeping a handgun in the bathroom might not be such a bad idea after all. Then again, going that far, I suppose you could use that to justify having one in every room of the house!

You are blind to the line people draw, and the respect for said lines.
Instead what you do is call people paranoid.
You also don't know what paranoia means. Because if you did, you would realize that is not the case here.

Who said inviting unprovoked attack? That is your own concept.

Ok.....you win.... Go lather up your dick special and stand at the ready in the shower. Make sure when you crap and wipe your arse you don't have an accidental discharge or you may have to deal with going thru life "half cocked" along with all of your other issues.

Wonder what the statistics are for people being attacked in the shower? Frankly, if someone broke into the house and confronted me naked in the shower, I think they would be laughing to hard to do anything!
                  Sorry, not sorry.

Ouch, saw another thread about a guy who got arrested, but still smuggled a large revolver in his butt past the cavity search!
                    Sorry, not sorry.

oh I don't know, I take my gun with me to shower all the time....

though I leave my firearms in the safe.

                        Exactly...

Besides, I have a "shower plan", if ever assaulted while showering...

I keep myself nice and "soaped up", so if I hear anyone, or if they try to "get me", I will jump out, soapy and slippery, screaming and flailing...Have you ever tried to fight a crazy, soapy, NAKED man???

Anyway, I thought I was the only one who did this! I live in a less desirable part of SD where if someone broke in, it might take too long to get to my nearest gun. My wife thinks i'm paranoid, I think paranoid saves lives.

The stainless steel Smith & Wesson Model 60 came out right after Alfred Hitchcock's film "PSYCHO" Coincidence? I don't think so.
