Where's the rule that says there is a line that starts at the front door? I don't give two ****s that you have been standing out there all morning. If I am at the counter and your screwing around not buying anything then I'll help myself, I got a life and things to do other than wait for a bunch of guys scratch their heads and look at an ammo case. OP was very generous IMO.

I am with you. "Molon Labe" stickers, NRA stickers, and pro AR stickers all over the back of this car in front of me, and the scumbag didn't signal to get into the turning lane nor while in it, got in a lane he didn't want to be in... drove over the solid yellow, changed lanes in front of me again, with no signal again of course, drove in the middle of the both coming and going lanes not one, and didn't stop at a stop sign all while representing us.

I don't get some people. I try so hard to be decent and strive for 100% perfect signal usage because I know it prevents more traffic hold-ups(, unless someone is blatantly holding up traffic to make them feel important and in control of everyone around them..).

Every time I see a truck with an NRA sticker on the back (well Chargers bolt also applies), I assume that they will not signal, or stay in their lane due to lane-creep (at least 2 tires over the line before they correct their driving) and I am 90-95% correct...

I got a couple of boxes I can spare. Bought a 100 pack a few months back. Sell you two boxes for pre panic price. Or trade you for a twenty of bud light in bottles. Live in Escondido. Can meet today after 3.

The prices at the stores - when they have it is about what it was before. Only idiots that buy it online from someone else pay inflated prices.

All the fools that are buying up and storing are going to end up eating it, just like last time. I expect to see a bunch of these fools over in Del Mar gun show in a few months trying to unload the extra ammo.

In fact, at the last DelMar there was some ammo still being sold on Sunday.

                People need to wake up.

                1. They are not going to ban ammo

                2. They are not going to register ammo.

                3. They are not going to limit what you can buy.

All are unconstitutional and all would be struck down by the courts.
Right...they won't tax ammo or take fingerprints on ammo purchases either or restrict online purchases of ammo. Oh wait...

                  cant speak for elsewhere but our 2 walmarts work this way,,,,they sell ammo from 7 am till 10 pm and there is a witing line at the ammo counter every day waiting for 7 am. if they recieved ammo they bring it out and it is sold in order of when you got to the ammo counter. this morning i was there at 5.40 am and i was second as the first guy got there at 5.15. come 7.10 when they finnally brought out the ammo there was a dozen folks in line. first guy got the 2 boxes of 357 mag, i got the only box of remington 223 and after me there was some remington 762 and all the rest of the order was different calibers of tulammo. any ammo i resell i just pass it on for exactly what it cost me( gonna post the 223 right now as i got wrong type,lol}

What, to you, is a "reasonable price" for your kids' outing.

What would you pay now for enough ammo for an outing?

A guy named George Santayana wrote "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." You might want to check that out, at least in concept.

Ammo will be limited, and will require registration and/or a magic California ammo card to buy. I understand some dealers require identification and/or your thumbprint to buy ammo.

Unloaded carry is a crime, even from your car parked on the street to the door of the gun shop 10 feet away.

You still can't get a license to carry in populated areas of the state.

Guns you may or may not buy are defined with no rationality by idiots your state has elected.

I agree with the "wake up" thing.

Bricks of .22 can be had in the Marketplace for $50 all day every day. Expensive? Relative to before Sandy Hook, sure. It's still $.10 a round and a brick will last most people all day. You would spend more taking your kid to the movies.
                    No kidding.

If a shooting outing with the kids is a priority, you can make it happen. That assumes that a "priority" is something YOU want to do. Doesn't sound like it.

Maybe he should order in a pizza or 3 and plug the kids into the Disney Netflix machine.

No one told them to go wait for hours before the store opened..lol

Its whoever is first AT THE AMMO CASE. And OP was first to ask for ammo...Douchbags should have asked before the OP did...

If it were me, I dont know If I could have held my tongue so politely so I commend you OP. And your right, Karma is REAL. I would af at least told the head gorilla "Hey you snooze you lose. Shoulda asked for ammo instead of *****in about ammo"...lol
Wow, nice F U attitude there.
I find most shooters friendly, respectful and willing to help each other out.
I guess that's not the case. Your entitlement attitude trumps common courtesy. Courtesy to respect peoples efforts and sense of civility. You expect people to ignore that and sprint to the counter like a pack of hayennas after a wounded gazelle?
                      And you speak of Karma?

The OP stated they were in front of the ammo case discussing why certain ammo they were waiting for weren't on the shelf like they were supposed to be (they can find out in advance). So the OP was able to see it "tucked back in the corner on the top shelf". So you think the OP was entitled to it and not those 5 other people who have been waiting in line for it? Seems like the OP was not first at the case since he said that 5 guys were in front of it when he got there.

Personally, I don't have the time or will power to wait in line at 6am at Walmart. I'll swing by to see what's left over if I'm in the neighborhood after the hoard has left. I have waited in line at Sportsmans Warehouse a few times to pickup ammo for friends and family, since I live 10 minutes from the store. All of the guys I've met so far have been nice and no one were pricks to eachother. Granted everyone usually gets what they want, even if your 70 in line..lol

I think a lot of these guys resell the ammo on Craigslist or some other place. I could be wrong.
