I went to buy some 22 ammo this morning so my kids could join me in the desert this coming weekend for plinkin' fun.
I got there right when they opened the doors and five guys were hanging out by the front.
I walked in with other customers and headed to the ammo.
When I got there the same five guys were there staring at the ammo case talking about how empty it was.
I looked up on the top shelf and there were 7 or 8 boxes of 50cnt 22lr for $2.17 a box tucked in the back.
The guys kept talking and I walked over to the clerk and asked her to open the case.
Just then, one of the guys says "your fifth in line". I look at him and tell him I was waiting for the others but everyone was just standing around talking about what they needed and how it wasn't there.
He said "you're still fifth in line".
I told him to have at it and walked.
The panic mentality lives, even if prices are going down.
