Ladies cut tactical vest?

Does anyone know of there are tactical vests designed, and cut for a ladies' physique? I've noticed everything on the market are very much guy oriented. They simply doesn't fit well with either too much or too little fabric at various obvious places. The adjustable straps that available on some vests fails in achieving a proper fit.

What I am looking for is more on the practical side for carrying say magazines, radios, phone, small tools, and etc.

Ladies who are in LE, and armed forces, had this ever came up? If such thing does not exist, would it nice if it does?

Not sure about women's cut vests, but I'm wondering if a chest rig might allow for circumvention of the problem? It wouldn't do for a plate carrier, sure, but at least as far as carrying gear it should do it with less inconvenience.

You're probably right about that one. And plate carrier is most likely a loss cause there. ALICE style systems seem to be the only thing that'll work without modifications.

Im temped to make something on my own base on the features of existing set ups. What are some popular types people uses for chest rigs and vests? MOLLE style configuration?

Currently, I'm just sticking everything in to a small back pack while at the range. I hope to find/make something a bit less unwieldy than that.

What kind of shooting are you talking about?!

If for only holding mags, you don't need a chest rig, plate carrier, lbv, etc. You can get thigh rigs that hold mags. Or get a belt and attach mag pouches to it. Blackhawk makes some good stuff.

If you must have a "tactical" set-up, a chest rig is your best bet.

Actually, I don't really need anything like plates. Something I can use at the range or maybe for that very unlikely SHTF moment. Typically I find myself fishing around for my stuff all the time while Im out shooting. It would be nice to be able to carry my phone, magazines, speed loader, as well as my gmrs radio / gps (rino 530hcx) which I use to some friends who goes to the range with me.

I'm not sure how...ummm...large you are in the bust but if more "sporty" or "slender" (as some put it) a regular tactical vest or chest rig will work find. however, if you are more "stacked" then you might wanna look into a rig that rides low. like this:

The MOLLE configured vests/plate carriers will be easier for you to adapt than an ALICE system vest.

...while not specifically cut for the flair of a ladies' hips, it does have a nice V-neck to accomodate the bust and is MOLLE based, so you get to buy your specific pouches to fit and move them around. I would think with something like that you could get the gear to adapt to your specific figure without too much hassle.

How about a battle belt, suspenders and a couple of pouches for your stuff?

That is by far the best solution so far, as I am sort of busty, but my hips are very slender. This seem to have the a good combination of attributes. The lower neck line should give more ease And it's price tag is pretty good, but I am sure it'll be considerably more as configure the pouches. I should to call them up for more details in sizing and dimensions.

I usually reccomend the tactical vests that have either velcro adjustments or drawdown buckle on the side, or the drawcord type. Either one you can cinch down to fit you personally. From there get the one with the molle attachment points, this way it allows you to place/adjust accordingly.

i knew a girl who wore my CIRAS all the time. she didnt seem to complain. she was also fairly large chested.

i thoink you would be better suited with a full rig rather than some for of PC or LBE
