I thought the outrage was because they tended to kill each other, and not LE.

But it was a secret underground meeting of Ds that ratified and added the 1986 amendment. President Reagan probably didn't catch that, and was probably signing it based on the previous revision, which was 100% pro-gun.

According to the supreme law of the land, full auto is legally no different than semi and should be 100% legal.

If FA had no advantages, wouldn't the military use SA only?
