+1 on Wall Mart.. I just bought their supplies of 9mm and waiting for them to restock again... For those of you in SD that would be Wall Mart off of the 805 south after you pass Main Street in Chula vista... Can't reber the name of the exit though...

The exit is Palm...........the one near Fry's by Qualcomm carries it too....

Haha! funny to see this, I know what you mean I went into Big5 the other day on an ammo run, looked over the counter to see the ammo, saw the 100rnd white box .45acp, asked the price since they had none showing, he scanned it, $59

Woooow, I laughed and just left.

Think the only reason I'd go to Big5 anymore is to get a Mossberg special.

The local walmart I cleaned them of their Federal 00-buck. Saw 550rnds of .22LR is $11, so least thats staying low.

The whitebox 100rnd for .45 there is $39, so got one of that, then took what blazer they had left. 9mm 100rnd is $29. .357 Magnum $45..

Big 5 is a hit and miss. I popped in a couple weeks ago and saw that the big 250 round boxes of UMC 9mm were on sale. A REALLY good sale. When I brought 2000 rounds to the counter, the girl asked if I was going to shoot an elephant. I told her I'd probably need most of these if I did run across an elephant. ...And that ammo is like toilet paper. You might as well buy a lot when they price is good. You're going to use it eventually, and you certainly don't want to be without when you really need it.

I just hit up the one by Qualcomm off Aero drive....the ammo wasn't even locked up in a case like the one off Clairemont and you can just walk up and grab what you want!. Anyway...they had a plenty of ammo there with that great wal-mart price...

little off topic...for some reason a majority of the wal-marts here in SD..your car gets dented or a damn cart ends up by it! i swear i'll park far...and someone will park next to me (carts included)...the wal-mart off of the 54 is the worst i've seen...carts and boxes everywhere...

I always park far out away from other cars, its good to walk and keeps my SUV away from karts and bad parkers...

But there is always those times, and twice for me, where I park in the open in the end of a lot, and some minivan both times, parked next to me, instead of all the other open spaces, and these two times parked so close to me it was inches from my mirror and I could not get in my side.

so after struggling from my passenger side I figure, hey, they must not care about damage to there car, makes it all the more easier to hold out something to the side of their car as I back out

both times was a minivan, with the damn family stick figure decals on the back, a stick figure to represent each family member, WHY WHy, WHY, park out next to me...so close... and yes both times this happened was at a walmart...

Impending ammo price increase

I located this information on the Natchez Shooters Supplies website, www.natchezss.com.

Apparently, ammo prices for Remington and Winchester are doing to jump significantly come June 2008.

I do reload. But just picked this gun up. So i bought a box of 50. So i can get some shooting in. Now im waiting for supplies to come in next week. New dies, brass and a new mold. After that im good to go again. Except im going to need more brass. With what is coming im looking at 150 cases.
