I'll concede on this and only because while there are states out there who are overwhelmingly pro gun, California gun owners still have more purchasing power. Well, at least for now.

I really will have to see CA driving the demand of the entire country to believe it though....... that will be very interesting.

Are those the same guys who have been bumping their threads for months now? makes me lol

That NIB walnut SA M1A Scout REALLY caught me by surprise, there are some still to this day listed at $2300-2500. It was NIB and it sold for $1600, I should have picked it up. Even before the election they were NOT obtainable at that price.

I'm looking for a mossberg 500 or 590, any thoughts as to whether they will be in stock or not?

Based on the price of the gun, your best bet is Big 5. Try gunbroker but take into account transfer fees and shipping, then compare to the price from Big 5+tax+dros.

I paid $350 for a mossberg 500 persuader. Pistol grip 8 shot with heat shield at a LGS. Big asks $500 for them I believe

I saw a standard BNIB PSA sell for $795 yestarday and a BNIB Springfield M1A the wooden version sell for $1600 as well. Even before the scare, a wooden Springfield M1A was $1800-$1900.

Anyone else wanna share their stories?

I'm really very happy today. Picked up a BNIB Bushy mid length 308 with 3 rb kits for $1156. Not a steal but definitely within my demand curve.
Far from normal. Walmarts ae still out of ammo, and gun stores around me are still half-empty with no backstock. Everyone I go into people are just jammed in them standing around.

I was at a LGS today and it was empty. I'm talking about RiverCity Gun Exchange that two months ago it takes 1hr to do PPT.

I guess it'll never be normal around here then - because WalMarts in the bay area don;t seem to ever stock ammo.
