Things are almost back to normal

Happy to say things are almost back to normal, at least as far as rifles are concerned. I know ammo is still bat**** crazy.

I saw a standard BNIB PSA sell for $795 yestarday and a BNIB Springfield M1A the wooden version sell for $1600 as well. Even before the scare, a wooden Springfield M1A was $1800-$1900.

Anyone else wanna share their stories?

The other day, when i was off. I went to my local gun store. Just to see if they have any 45acp in stock. I went to the counter and see what else guns they had left from all these recent shootings. To my surprise, there was a Glock19. I just wanted to handle it because it was suppose to by my first gun. I asked if i could look at it, he pulled a new one out and rung me up for it. At that time i didnt even know if i wanted another gun(i have a 1911). The guy said i better hurry up and get one because he only have a few of them left. So now im just waiting to pick it up in a few days. I sure hope things go back to normal because they dont have any ammo. What good is a gun without ammo.

hmmm, that's interesting...you asked to "look" at it and he rung ya up for one? Geez, i've heard of the "assume the sale" technique, but, that's really taking it to another level

I'm sure you'll enjoy it regardless

They're getting there, but some shops haven't gotten the memo just yet. A LGS has a SCAR 17 on their wall for 5K. Not exactly back to normal yet.

Back to normal? For how long? Remember we are in CA and things might be getting weird real fast.

Saw an M&P-10 here in Norcal for 2499 so some shops have t got the memo. Same with some sellers here on the classifieds. But many shelves at LGS are getting filled and online retailers seem to have more inventory. Hopefully the worst is past.

CA alone can't drive the demand for the entire country.

Yeah but the idiots in Sac can make it so you can't buy ANTHING.

Lot of good that will do us. Rest of the country is only good for THE REST OF THE COUNTRY..lol

Remember, the laws we have up and coming in CA would regulate internet sales as well.

You weren't around buying guns in December of 1999, were you?

Lots of cursing from the rest of the country about those "rich" Californians buying up all of the good stuff before the ban went into effect.
