80% ARES Still Waiting

Just wondering if anyone has received orders placed in December 2012.

I'm not sure what or when in Dec you ordered but rumor has it that a lot of the 80% ar15 lowers are getting anodized right now and should be shipping out next week ( late Dec orders that is) it also sounds like the raw 15's are shipping right now. AR10's and 1911's I can't speak to.

I ordered on December 19th. Before I ordered I called and asked when I could expect delivery. I was told that the January run was full and they were now taking orders for the February delivery dates.

Things happened and delivery dates were pushed back a little so I sent an email in february and asked if I could still expect a Feb delivery, I was told late feb or march. On March 6th I sent email and was told I was still on for a march delivery.

Beginning of April I started emailing and could not get a response. I sent inquiries via the "contact us" link on their website, no response. I sent emails to every person on their employee contact list with no response.

I checked them out on the BBB website and saw the "F" rating and the complaints and started to feel like I was had and I was out over $300.

I finally got Jimmy to answer the phone on Friday April 19th and he was surprisingly very helpful. I was ready to tear into somebody about the poor communication but Jimmy looked up my order and said he would send it out that day or I could drive up, about a 2 hour round trip, and have them today. I opted to have them mailed. A few hours later I got a shipment confirmation email and they are scheduled for delivery on Monday April 22. so We will see.

I ordered 3 anodized order # ORD30279119089 if that helps

Well they showed up. The anodized finish on all 3 have noticable blemishes in them and one has very minor pitting but whatever at least they showed up.
