Poway or not, that is spendy. This is not La Jolla or Beverly Hills. I am looking forward to seeing their daily use rates.

They're probably in over their heads when it comes to start up costs and need to recoup some of that money ASAP. Prices should level out once the hype dies down and they do realize they're not competitively priced.

They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

Then you can sit back and moan about how boring it is when you can't run around, do tactical rolls etc etc etc like a true Operator.

^^^Lol. They'll take your $5K for a membership and then you'll get killed while you're wandering around the office spaces.

In any case, I can't see the web page at work, are the daily non-member rates posted yet?

Ultimately, I wish I had that kind of coin...

I think I'll stick with shooting USPSA. Its a lot cheaper, even though I still don't get to do tactical rolls...... Although paying $5000 to get my name on the "Founders Wall" is tempting.

P2k just added a couple more 50 yard lanes (total of 4). They had only two and added two more by taking from the 100 yard lanes. Still have 6 100 yard lanes.

They need to add more pistol lanes. Sat and Sunday there is 30 minute wait 1 hour after opening.

Just the building alone will be over $5mil not to include probably $400k in hvac. Then bullet traps which are $1200 ish a linear foot....

I was in the shop today and asked. $16/hr is what I was told.

                            All,

Of course we will have public lane rates. Since we will have 3 different ranges (a 25 yard, 50 yard and 100 yard) the lane rates will vary slightly. As of now we are looking at $15 an hour for the 25. $16 for the 50 and 100. The benefit for the memberships is you get front of the line priveldges and reservations!

We look forward to you all checking us out as we continue to build the range at www.weaponsandgearrange.com

I think they're scheduled to open spring 2014. but those member prices are hard to swallow. It took me awhile to buy a membership at DGM, but you "break even" going twice a month, which is reasonable and figured that would be easy to get my monies worth. I suppose front of the line priveledge is nice, but not at those prices. and as a nonmember I could understand reservations, but think I'd get annoyed with someone "cutting" in line because they're a member. I'm sure ill end up going once in a blue moon to shoot somewhere nearby when I want to shoot pass 25 yards, but other than that based on what I'm seeing ill probably renew my membership at DGM although I was thinking I would've bought a membership here once mine expired.

edit: looking at the platinum: at least family members would be free. but I suppose this would depend on what they define as family. if they mean household family members, or all/any family members.
