I hate to say it, but this is pricing me out of the desire to possess firearms. After all, what good are they without ammo?

This isn't the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. Just ride it out and when prices stabilize, buy as much as you can when you have the money. Then you can laugh at the fools who don't have any ammo the next time this happens.
