The fact that it is stock means that even in these times, there is a price limit. You see threads everyday about Midway having something, it's gone in 45 minutes or less. Not this.

If no one buys it, it sits and collects dust then the price goes down. If people buy it, then it stays at a silly price.

Are you assuming that all of the retailers are simply letting inventory collect dust at the current ridiculous prices, instead of actually selling product to turn a profit? Prices are as high as they are, because buyers are paying.
