Rudest reply from out of state FFL

I guess it finally had to happen, I asked if this guy on Gunbroker "houstongunforum" was setup to ship to Calif and what I got back was this:

"would not ship to that cesspool in my life depended on it
    thanks"

    My Reply:

"Well thanks for the "kind" reply and supporting the antigunners in this state, oh yes thanks for keeping Obama and Biden in office. Oh yes any information you would give to CA DOJ to signup for the CFLC program (takes 5 mins) is already PUBLIC knowledge on the BATF website. More and more out of state of CA FFLs are finding available money/sales here because they realize, they are playing right into the hands of the antigunners, Feinstein, Boxer, Lee and the like with the "No Sales To Calif" attitude and not supporting the law abiding CA gun owners. All the CFLC system does is confirm the 01 FFL you are shipping to is legal to receive it, you don't supply any information not already publicly available and you don't even record WHAT you are shipping into CA. There are thousands of members of the CALGUNS.NET Forum, worth $$$$$$ in sales but you just lost their sales with your uninformed attitude becuase your reponse has been posted there.

At least my folks in Witchita Falls, Crowell and Vernon TX don't have a problem shipping firearms to CA."

    Thanks again and Best Regards

    His reply:

i dont read novels from californians
    sorry

I know it's his choice, but this was the first As****e I've run into.

When I attended a gun show in VA after xmas it was apparent that there is NO love for CA anywhere. It was actually in VA I became anti-CA myself once I saw tables and tables and tables jammed packed with pistols and rifles we could not dream of purchasing here. "Hey, I live in California..Do you guys do business with California?" The look I would get is priceless...

          Honestly, who could blame him?

We don't even want to deal with our pig-disgusting, trashcan laws. Why would anyone else?

            Can you blame him?
You got the exact response that the CFLC program/law wanted you to get. Ultimately to make it the worst possible experience that a free person would go through to sell a firearm here.

I can blame him, for being a rude SOB. $100 says he wouldn't have said that face to face... Internet cowboys, f'em.

There's a lot of attitude about California outside the state. It's the same sort of attitude we see inside the state about democrates vs. republicans. People rush to lump groups of people into stereotypical bunches. I guess it makes people feel superior to do it, but I think it's just ignorance.

Sorry to hear you had to deal with an ignorant and rather rude businessman. Granted our Gun laws are absurd but they are not impossible to deal with. I think you should post this arrogant and rather rude seller's information so the rest of us don't have to deal with the same BS.

Actually yes Sir, I CAN blame him, the CFLC progarm although a PIA is quite simple and sales to CA residents are lost due to uninformed attitudes like this. This is actually the first guy that has not thanked me for the CFLC program info and signing up for IT so they can expand their customer base! Takes 5 min to sign up, the FFLs info provided is already public information on the BATF website. Confirming the out of state FFL is shipping to a FFL in CA who is legally able to receive the "un-named" fiream only takes a few minutes OR less via computer. Yes I can blame him and yes it's his right to refuse to sell to Kommiefornica residents. Seems like if there was enough "policial juice" do deal with the antigunners and Dumocrats in this state it would have been done long ago.

I think there is a couple of perspectives on this topic and I think I can understand both sides of the argument.

This guy was rude and could have used a little more finesse in how he replied to you, but I can understand his reasoning for not wanting to ship into the State.

For many of us that are not from California or are non-residents of California (I'm temporarily here for work), we look at this State, it's residents, it's government and see it as a complete lost cause. The percentage of populace that have voted in people like D. Feinstein in this state outweigh others. And from an outside perspective... that is exactly what California wants. Not people like you and fellow cal gunners, but most.

Maybe he views it as by selling to a State or resident of a State (which supports that State) he is also supporting their views on the matter. He's supporting the fact that this State often twists the Constitution for it's own convenience. Maybe he thinks if not a single sale was done in this State until their warped views were changed back to what they should be... it could help.

These are the reasons why people don't want to sell to CA and I can understand it. Does it suck for the right-minded citizens in the State? Yup! But that's not his fault... it's the States....

Good luck in finding what you're looking for and sorry you have to deal with the rude people.

Thank a pathetic delusional naive liberal...

And I like the fact some GunBroker sellers won't sell to CA, NY, Chicago, etc....

It keeps their prices much lower -

I just have it shipped to friends in TX or OK -

                          Who forward it to me.

Costs me beer that I woulda bought anyway.....

There's a lot of gunners on gunbroker that piss me off,
excuse me, but California gunners are on the front line of gun rights,
and we ought to be getting support, not incrimination from gunners who are lucky enough to live in states that support gun rights
