    San Jose Gun Show

Does anyone know if they sell ammo at the San Jose Gun Show? I think there is one tomorrow but I can't remember if they have ammo (not beef jerky caliber)

    Thanks

I just need .22 and maybe .45. But it's so close to me that it might just be worth the admission and parking.

Ammo Dump used to sell there, however I didn't see them at the last few shows.

Considering what you will have to pay for gas, parking and admission better of going to WalMart!

                    I went.

Mostly antiques rifles and memorabilia. The only new guns I saw were AR uppers/lowers. One guy had a new glock and XD, both in .45. As far as ammo, one guy selling reloads was charging more than Walmart does for WWB.

If you're into rifles, it's probably fine. For handgun owners, if you don't go, you aren't missing anything.

last time i stop in there, there were a number of mi surplus rifles (a bit over priced) and lots of junk. no ammo to speak of, allways a person selling some but no booth selling box or case lots.

for the drive not worth the $20 odd bucks getting into the show.....even though the fuel would cost me more.

Heyas, I just got back from there...this is my second ever gun show but i thought i'd try and say a bit on what i saw...

$8 at the door adminission without coupon and $8 to park. The other posters were right, there's a LOT of C&R type rifles there, lotta mosins, I saw a nice chilean mauser tucked away in a corner and there were at least a handful of Swiss 1889 and K31s too There was prolly only two tables with EBIL black AR rifle things and the rest was memorbelia.

This SJ show was a bit bigger or as big as the Cow Palace show a few weeks back but then again that's not saying much since there were two other shows going on that weekend.

There were two ammo booths, I was looking for 7.62 NATO rounds for my M1a and i didn't find any cheap ammo for it. I ended up buying a couple ammo cans, a M14 magazine, and some cleaning stuff. Overall everyone was real nice and I had a couple good conversations with the venders.

I'm only regretting one thing about the show. One guy was selling a used loading machine, I forget the brand. It said "Set up for 9mm. You clean. $30". I looked like it was in good condition. I think it would have been a good buy at $30. Maybe it will be at the SF show in May if no one bought it.

I've been to a couple, never have been impressed frankly, even though I wanted to be.
