I am getting one out of jail on Tuesday. Maybe able to go to the range on Sunday before. That, my friend is a bummer.

      Not gonna shop there anymore.

Congrats on your new gun, have fun!
I think a few stores do that because they dont want to have to explain the 10 24 hour periods. Some people don't understand that and come in a few hours early. Instead of explaining it over and over again by saying 11 days, there won't be any question the gun is ready for pick up. Still sucks

I won an auction for a USMC Remington 40x 22 last week.
Mailed off my payment the next day.
He shipped it out earlier this week.
Should be at my FFL today.

I explained it to them, should be 10-24 hour periods. So if I bought it on the 2nd at 12:45pm, so I should be able to pick it up on the 12th after say 1:00pm.

That's when they gave me the schtick about delays.

So they just traded one explanation for another. One legal (10-24 hour periods) for one FUDLY.
          Sorry, not sorry.

Just wait till you buy something expensive.

I spent a few thousand on a rifle with nothing to show for it but a piece of paper for 10 days =(

I've been waiting for my CGN engraved lower for +4 months. (not complaining... I knew it would take awhile)
Laws and common sense is all up to interpretation to us humans... and guess what? Humans suck.
