It's only been 6 days!!

My 10 day wait is actually 12 because the 10th day fell on Sunday - the LGS is closed Sunday and Monday It feels like I've been waiting a month, but its only been 6 days. And yes, I am a little impatient - I want it now!!!

On the other hand I've been trying to build my ammo supply so I can shoot when I do get my gun. I scored 3 boxes today from Big5, I'm up to 200 rounds

Now many of you are laughing at my 200, but for someone who just started I feel pretty good. Wanted to start a long time ago, but financially just couldn't. Slowly I'll build a small stash - just might take 50 years

When I bought my lowers back in December it was on a Monday or Tuesday and I wasn't done with the paperwork until after closing time that day.
The salesman Matt P at turners San Marcos gave me a pickup date of 11 days because of the fact they were past closing time on the day I was starting DROS. Come to find out, my tenth day fell on a day where they were open a couple hours later than the day I started dros.
I was upset, but I got through it, just like you will.

The lady who completed the transfer with me in the store was a little surprised it actually got released. Not too many delays have been and I may have been the first at that shop.

Yup... my very first handgun was scheduled to pick up on Saturday. The shop was closed because of a competition and didn't open till Tuesday.

It gets easier. Wait till you snag a used collectable the first day it hits the case. That's 30 days!

I too hate the waiting period! I want to shoot it now, not in ten days.

The last time I bought a pistol, the store (which i wont name) put 11 days as my pickup date. When I questioned this, saying it should be 10-24 hour periods, I was told that they make it eleven, because sometime the DOJ waits until the last minute to issue any delays. Not buying it!

Not gonna shop there anymore.

Try buying an m1 from cmp!! A 60 day wait is very rough!
