thanks for the compliments, I still need to get some internal pictures of the striker assembly.

I also may start cutting and turning original sten bolts into semi bolts, now that i have the kiln to anneal and re harden them.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but today my friend put the spark in my head to build a Sten, and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Did you ever get any pics of the internals of your gun?

If you're interested, the word "STEN" is an acrogram, composed of the first letters of the names of the designers-four of them.If yours is made from home made parts, it's quite in order, as it was designed to be made in home workshops.In fact all the original designers were Model engineers, who built Steam Engines, model Locomotives, etc.
