Gun show, go on first day vs second

So there is a gun show coming in March, and I was wondering if it's better to go on the first day in the early morning vs the second day in the early morning. Are all of the deals usually on the first day?

Won't be anything left to buy after noon on Saturday. It was that way 20 years ago, anything popular was gone. Miwall was about the only one that brought enough to be in stock into Sunday. But even they would be picked over by Sunday.

I'm only asking because I've never been to a gun show before and they are having one in San Diego in March. I know not to expect too much, but there might be ammo or reloading products I may find.

It's an unfortunate time to be going to your first gun show! Even in 'normal' times the SD gun show is pretty packed and the lines for reloading supplies and ammo are long. I'm guessing that this time you'll have to get in line around 6AM to stand a real chance of getting anything.

For ammo, just track gunbot.net and you'll find something.

Last 2 Costa Mesa shows were crazy croweded...IIRC 11000 in November 2012 and twice that in January.

Passes up a 98 Mauser once for $200. The guy had a dozen of them at that price. Came back 1/2 hour later to pick one up. They were gone. Go early.

How much ammo do I need? Enough to last me the rest of my life, and then lot more for later.

Only because I had no one to go with since it's a 30 min drive for me from near Nati City. I guess I'll just sit out of this one. But I will check that site.

I guarantee there will be ammo, but you're not going to like the prices.

Go, if for nothing else than to experience the only economic stimulus that this president has generated. Go, have fun, buy some jerky. Go.

You are going to have to go early Saturday to get anything worth going for. Ammo and anything AR/AK will be gone early.
