My first choice wasn't on the survey: 80% of my shooting is on private land

Roughly 15% on a commercial range that requires membership and 5% on public land

Is public range a commercial range? The Santa Clara County Field Sports Park (aka Metcaf) is good. The ranger officers there are cool.

Yes, many of my guns are still in "just out of box" condition. Too many guns, too little time to shoot.
                Give me UNIMOG, or nothing.

Folks, please keep your discussions on topic. This belongs in general gun discussons or the great outdoors. I'm leaning toward the former so that is where it is going.

Heh, I took a pic of one of the no-shooting signs in Anza Borrego a while back:

It wasnt a vote option, but I have a private range on my property in 29 Palms. Also I shoot on some empty land about 40 minutes from my house. (Gavalin Hills if anyone knows were that is)

Where precisely? How far off the main rd? I ask cuz i ride up there several times a year and would love to take the guns up to that area for some open area shooting. Any good area info would be great. Closer to Loon Lake? Or further down towards hwy 50 or an area in between? Wentworth Springs area?

                              Thanks.
