Can you keep digging in your safe? I believe I asked you to hold on to my .50BMG a couple years back.

Real reason it has sat there forever has been I could never get good glass on it, I just bought a high end scope as a Christmas present to myself so now I am thinking about getting into 50 again.
Anzio Iron Works guns are pretty good, from what I've read. I bought a Bluegrass Armory Viper before the ban and they took a long time to finish the gun and deliver to me. I like the rifle but haven't shot it much for the same reason you haven't shot your Anzio. If anyone here wants to buy a rifle from Bluegrass Armory, those guys are real nice, honest, and down to earth, but don't ever order a rifle in gray. For some reason, the gray rifles take a looong time to build.

Having shot thousands of rounds of match grade 50BMG ammo and watched 10s of thousands more being shot, I've yet to see a $5 round of top quality match ammo. But, I guess if you're using the +$3/round brass that Dale is/was selling along with 20N29, RWS primers and AAA projos, it could cost you +$5/round if you were not amoritizing your brass and didn't shop around for the best deals.

With Amax bullets I bought this summer, LC brass, CCI primers and H50BMG, my match loads only cost me about $3 each. I can load plinking rounds with surplus bullets and reclaimed powder for about $1/round.

Still waiting on my DOJ paperwork, did the form and got it notarized, that was over a month ago. I have heard it takes two months!

                I'll keep you posted.
