Thanks guys. I don't have the words.... Come on back anytime.

    Plinker,
Maybe you should think about relocating to gun-friendly Ventura county. It's gotta be better than L.A. county and we'd be that much closer.

I wish... The drive kills me out there as it is to do something fun. If I had to do it every day? :suicidesmiley:

        +1 for Fort Courage Armory

Having a rifle shipped in from out of state.
Went into Fort Courage Armory this afternoon and Tim immediately faxed his FFL paperwork to the seller there and then whilst I was in the store.
Great store and you can ask all the dumb questions that you like (which I excel at!) and Tim goes out of his way to be helpful.

Stop by FCA on Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley and give them your support.

My one time here was nice, I found a pair of uncommon grips at a good price as well. I went to the "other" Simi valley store and while I didn't have problems, if I lived closer I'm sure FCA would get more of my business.

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Tim. I spent alittle too much time on gunbroker lately. He sent his FFL everyway possible for me (fax, e-mail, and signed blue ink). Thanks Tim

I first walked into Tim's shop in November of 2008, as nearly everybody in town was walking into gun stores nationally about that time. Lucky for me my brother lives like a 1/2 mile from Fort Courage and since that day it has been my favorite place to spend time. Tim has been great as been his entire staff too, but on that 1st day I bought a Remington made Springfield M1903 A3 from Tim, AWESOME shape, like brand new, he gave me a great deal. I have since stopped in several times, I don't think a week has passed where I haven't stopped in to see Tim since that day in November of '08 as Tim has been my transfer FFL on all of my internet purchases, besides being my one stop gun shop. What a gem of a human being, we even share the same birthday, ha ha ha...
But I have had transferred through Tim, everything from a Ruger .22 Mark III pistol, to my latest big money spend, a Stag CA Compliant AR 15, and several other style rifles in between. Tim goes by the letter of the law, which makes me feel secure that I am doing everything correctly. I don't even want to deal with other gun shops, I live in Castaic, 40 miles away, and look forward to weekly stopping by Tim's to see if my rifle has shown up or start my DROS or my favorite day, PICKUP day!!! Yeah!!!

He just recently got in several Enfield's, and I am going to buy one if one is still available next week.

Having a guy with all of Tim's knowledge, who is also, like me a U.S. Army veteran, it's such a gratifying feeling that you know you're being taken care of. As I spent 9 years in the Army and nearly 20 as a Courtroom Deputy with the U.S. Courts, many of my associates in life & friends have been LEO's, and I have told all my LEO buddies about Fort Courage and they are willing to drive all the way from Claremont, Pasadena, Santa Monica & even Victorville to deal with such a pleasant & knowledgeable man, who by all means, KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!

God Bless you Tim, thanks for getting those FFL letters off for me every time I walk in your place with a new order, you are the MAN!!!

P.S. Save one of them SMLE's for me bud!

I was in Fort Courage Armory maybe three days ago or so. As always Tim greets me by name. I actually just decided to go in there because I was bored at home with nothing to do. Low and behold Tim has the optic I have been looking for, a rare one at that. After playing with it for a bit I bought and for a killer price. Tim also have some lower receivers, SVT40, SKSs, M1 Garands, and M1 Carbines. Since I found Tim's place I have only used one other gun store and that was only because Tim wasn't at the gun show to DROS it.

Tim is a really cool guy, if you guys are ever in Simi his store is definetly a must.

+1 on FCA, I've dealt with Tim before and had no problem. Knowledgable, and no attitude whatsoever!

I've been searching for an excellent Glock shop, heard about FCA but never took the time to check it out. Planning to drive up this weekend to hand over some green.

I will suggest calling ahead. I think Tim is taking either all or part of the memorial day weekend off.
