    Fort Courage Armory

Hey guys i went down to Fort Courage Armory about 2-3 weeks ago to do my HI-point 995 PPT to a fellow cal gunner and wanted to comment on the shop and owner. They had alot of items that i needed and the owner was very profession and nice. They currently sell OLL so make sure to stop by and support them.

I have never been there, but I can attest to the owner being nice. I was trying to print out the flow chart and was unable to do so without it cutting off part of it.

He offered to send me a laminated copy at his expense and did so. He also refused to accept any money for the copy or the mail expense. I realize it wasn't a huge amount, but he didn't have to do it and he did. I'd do business with him if I was up that way.

That is a weak excuse. You just drove to Taft and are coming back again. Spread that BRD to the far reaches of the vendor world!

Every dealer should aspire to run their operation like Tim does. I'm lucky, his shop is only 10 minutes from my house!

Tim, it's about time you got some recognition. Your business can be a model not only for other gun retailers but for every other retail/customer service business out there!

I went out there today to check it out. You'd never know it was a gun shop (except for all the guns!) The folks there are friendly and inviting.

Plus you gotta love a shop that keeps copies of the flowchart on the counter!

Glad to see this thread re-appear. Tim is a fantastic guy and runs a great shop.

                    I wish he would move.

Every time you go there, try to donate a couple of dollars to the "flow chart fund." Tim prints these up and sells them at material cost (he doesn't charge for his time). But, he gives them to LEOs for free so, the money comes out of his pocket. Let's all encourage him and others like him to pass out flow charts to LEOs by donating a few bucks to the cause.

More kudos to Tim. I haven't had a chance to buy from him yet, but my next purchase will be there. Very friendly and informative service even for someone who was just in to check out the shop.
