Mission Failed. Restocking time was correct just no ammo I needed @ Industry.

A bunch of 380, 30-06, shotgun shells. Just hate going to the range and not replenishing the supply.

I been at Walmart when they break down the pallet to stock the ammo. It might with a case with one box of ammo inside. The employees do not know what they have ammo wise until they open all the cases. Sometimes it's a full case, few boxes or just one box of ammo. It is all random on the ordering.

Big 5- Monday, lines start at 8am, store opens at 10am

Fortunately I don't need any.
Usually I just ask for future purchases.
Damn shame people are still panicking.

It varies by store. My local Walmart gets there truck on Tues and Sat. This is what i found tonight at 600pm (also had 7.63 remington and tula) The 9mm rem 100ct box for $23 was sold out already. they also had got in .40 250ct and 12gauge slugs

They are all random. Wal-mart does their restock at night. When the ammo actually comes in is a mystery as they only wait for what comes from the manufacturers. I've been to some walmart where the worker said its been 3 weeks and no new stock of ammo came in.

At another wal-mart they say just keeping coming in the morning to check because there is no set schedule.

Of the three I've visited, they all tell me its daily, and its hit or miss. Just come in or call around 9AM. If I'm not running late, I'll swing buy and stock up on what they have, though my purchases are becoming less frequent as my stocks are replenished. I'm stocked well enough on .45 and .40 that I the only thing I'm looking for now is 5.56 and 9mm, (and I refuse to buy 3 boxes of 20 rounds) so I'm in the wait and see mode, cutting bck on my AR trigger time.

Monday morning I found ammo

My only luck was about 9:30 am on a monday. Grabbed the only two boxes of 40. I left there the two boxes of 45. Just one data point.

Finally went today to Walmart....said their shipment just came in this morning. The shelf was BARE! Im sure the hoarders were huffing and puffing outside efore it was open. lol. Luckly I dont buy factory unless I have to.

My buddy had been working the hunting depo. At my local wally world for 5 yrs and this is what he tells me. He also says they never place an order because the warehouse never gets it right. Its all random.
what he does say is that shipments arrive at night and he stocks in the morning.

I went today and been calling daily... I have been told it comes in daily, and is stocked in the eve..today I got 3 boxs of 223 for 8.09 each.. I really need 9mm and 40.. she said they only got 1 box of 40..

San Diego Inventory Manager told me there is a full pallet of .223 coming in tomorrow around lunch time.


See how stupid it looks when we try to figure out the logistical nightmare that is Wal Mart? Above is a joke btw.

Really want to know? Get in good with the stock crew and have them shoot you a text when they see it on a skid getting ready to be stocked on a shelf, then go there immediately. That's the only way to know for sure.
