After panic, which stores will you support or boycott?

Lots of people have been saying that they will no longer support the stores that are price gouging and will frequent the ones that don't. I'm hoping to find some good recommendations as to where I spend my dollars.

So which stores will you refuse to shop at and which ones will you patronize?

I will continue to shop and support all of the LGS' in my area, City Arms East in Pleasant Hill, Canyon Sports in Martinez and Antioch Armory in Antioch.

All have always been a pleasure to do business with and have no reason to take my business elsewhere.

Unless they canceled peoples orders and then offered the merchandise for more, I don't care what they charged.

CTD and Sportsman were always on my do not buy list... as is Spikes Tactical for canceling peoples orders, then raising the price on the same product in 2008.

I will probably give them a pass in a few years, just like we all did with S&W in the 90s.

              Good Companies:
              +1 for City Arms
              Exile Machine
              Primary Arms

              Places I will avoid:
              Solar Tactical
              US Cavalry.

I use to be an anarchist but I quit that; there's too many rules.

I boycott everyone until they have the price I like.

I used to be a big fan of Ammo Bros (Cerritos) almost exclusively buying from them even though they're 3-4 times farther away than Turners (Torrance) and Martin B Retting (Culver City). The last time I was there (picking up from jail), I observed (in my opinion) some more than reasonable inflated prices and haven't been back since. They also don't answer their phones as brian_landan

the same people who made cheaper then dirt so popular before the rush will go scurrying back to that online reseller as soon as they see a price they like. It's places like CTD that made the LGS such a rarity in some towns.

Always support you LGS. Pay the extra few $ for the gun (within reason). Get your hunting/home protection ammo there, maybe cleaning supplies. Bullets, well considering you are pumping quarters (minimum) down range repeatedly; get that as cheap as you can.

Forget gun broker unless your looking to sell. Done with bass pro.

Turners has handled themselves well IMO.

My initial iffy feeling towards Ammo Bros has been conformed.

I just spoke with my old boss at the range today. The manufacturers are not taking new orders for at least 18 months due to the backlog. Distributors are sold out and what they have left in their store and stocked up is what they have left. So if they don't raise their prices, than they won't have anything to sell. They tried to keep their prices down for awhile on their black rifles, but they sold over 100 rifles in 3 days. They raised their prices on PMC .223 to $15 and 9mm to $18. They also had to put a 3 box limit on it or they'd be gone and no more ammo for their rental guns or people coming in wanting to shoot.

Sorry, that isn't price gouging, but they're running businesses and it's useless to have empty shelves. I asked my old boss if he liked the extra profit and his answer was I'd prefer lower prices and a steady stream of inventory.

Got this message from Nordic's website. http://shop.nordiccomp.com/NC-Speed-...T-BN-00-00.htm

NOTICE: We are unable to process credit card transactions at this time. Intuit Merchant Services has told us that they will NOT process anymore transactions and may put a freeze our accounts because we sell firearms related products. I was told that they are backed by Chase Banks. DO NOT conduct business with these financial institutions if you care about the Constitution of the United States, the Second Amendment or your RIGHTS as a firearms owner. We, as firearms owners, are under attack. I wonder how many of these anti-gun banks received Bail-out money from the current administration?

Looks like some banks want to disasseble 2A.
