When banned wanna-be-lawyer members tell me I'm wrong but a retired CA circuit court judge calls me for a two hour long distance phone conversation stating how I interpreted the law better than most lawyers I'm gonna stick with my opinion until proven wrong.

        Go for it, then.

And, to help with the effort, I'll kick in $50 to help you prove the legality of these things.

          CA Penal Code 16930
As used in this part, a "multiburst trigger activator" means either of the following:
          (a) A device designed or redesigned to be attached to a semiautomatic firearm, which allows the firearm to discharge two or more shots in a burst by activating the device.
          (b) A manual or power-driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so that when attached to a semiautomatic firearm it increases the rate of fire of that firearm.
The device being discussed does not do either of the above. Anyone that says otherwise is wrong.

That statement brings back so many memories of people who are now in jail who told me I couldn't arrest them for one reason or another because I was wrong about what was or wasn't illegal.

There have been guns confiscated for bumpfire in Eldorado National Forest. The Eldorado Forest Ranger submitted it to the County DA. Not sure if the DA is going to prosecute or not.

Shall a person arrested in CA for this device call you for financial support in their defense?

Feel free to continue to tell us we're offering an opinion. That's accurate.

But also include that you either are or are not a lawyer, giving a legal opinion or not giving a legal opinion. I don't know which it is.

I do know which way I read the risk. No good can come of buying a slidefire-type device in California, until the California courts clearly state such things are not 'multiburst trigger activators' (as defined in PC 16930) and therefore not violations of PC 32900.

I agree, it does not create a burst, which means one trigger pull for 2-3 shots nor does it increase the rate of fire.

It wasn't that long ago that the CGN "hire ups", some of them on the CGF, said you cannot have an open magwell AR/AK in CA. Just sayin...

Good to know. I shoot in EDNF a lot, and have been known to bumpfire on occasion. Guess I'll have to stop doing that...

This is shown almost weekly when some CGN member posts about some guy at the range with hi caps or evil features.
Rat someone out? I can't recall any post where someone posted that they called law enforcement because someone was at the range with a hi cap mag or evil features. I'm at the range all the time with those items and no one gives it a second look.

They are point blank wrong, mis-informed & mis-guided.

Bro, you can argue it to the end of time...

Bump fire / slide fire stuff is ILLEGAL !! And that bogus info that "nobody has ever been prosecuted" is a myth.

Break the law, you will get nailed for it.

                              wow...

                              1) I see no Californian law saying a Glock 18 is illegal....so can I buy one?
                              2) When I activate the Slidefire stock..what happens?

You people are kidding yourself if you can not see the child-like nature of your ego.

Please answer both of those questions and if you still think a G18 and a slidefire stock are legal... go buy them.

We are better off with you in prison so we rational people can show the rational people on the fence about gun-owners that not all of us are redneck idiots who can't follow a simple law.
