    Ammo Shipping

Ive been lookin around for stickys and Threads related to shipping ammo but cant find anything.

Who will ship ammo? I know USPS wont, so today i went to UPS they said they wont ship it either but ive received ammo shipped through UPS before so im confused. What about Fed Ex? Should i not mention that im shipping ammo? Ask for Ground shipping only?

You will probably have to go to a UPS or Fed-X main facility, unless you know someone who has a UPS account for pick up.

USPS. Prepackage it. Put ORM-D in bold on the outside. No need to disclose.

Is this a for sure tried and true method? If so this would be PERFECT.

You can not ship ammo usps. Only ups or fedex. The rest is correct. ORM-D on box and just leave on counter. It's the retail stores that hassle you.

Ground shipping only - no air or over night.

Does a UPS postal annex count as a retail store?

Wrong advice. USPS stands for US Postal Service. The ORM-D stands for hazardous material. They( USPS) will ask you if what you are shipping contains hazardous material. Bad juju if you get caught in the lie. OP,just take it to a local UPS/Fed Ex not a retail store.

NO. You can't use USPS to ship ammunition, and yes there is a need to disclose. Not to mention if you get caught.. That's just bad advice.

Nobody seems to get that orm-d hazmat truck do crash connection. If I roll up on a TC I sure as hell wanna know what the orm d stickers are for.

I receive ammo via FedX and UPS, routinely. Sounds like your local UPS store is just anti and won't do it.

Wrong again, its not that they are ant-gun,its their policy. UPS stores are a frachise and bound to different policies. Legally one should go to a UPS/FedEx hub to ship ammo.

Take it to a main hub at either ups or FedEx with a ormd sticker on hit. You'll have to call ups or FedEx where they are located at. For ups, it the location where you go to pick up your package after they attempt to deliver it.
