Good to meet you and I had a great time showing you all the 4" 1911s we had

Holy Smokes Soldier415. That was the most polite post I have ever scene from you. Not one reference to jenkim even.

I can see it now at the range. After putting a few mags down range through various 1911's. "Too bad your wife couldn't make it."

"Hey nOOb, does this cleaning rag smell like chloroform?" Soldier415 quickly places rag on t0kie's face. *t0kie struggles briefly*

Soldier415 calls the USN CHIEF. "Spider has a new fly in the web."

        Next day.

        Phone rings, Soldier415 picks up.

"Bull's Eye, how can I help you? Uh-huh. I understand you are worried ma'am. What was your husband's name again? No Ma'am, your husband never came in a few days ago."

        Meanwhile, in the dungeon...

Someone enjoys Pulp Fiction way too much.

I love seeing all the newbies who want 1911s.

PS - I've been sleeping with my new Colt Government MKIV ever since I bought it. I can't let it go back in the safe.

We need full body shots of your wife to see what type of firearms/caliber would be best for her frame.

Thanks Dan, nice to meet you last night and it was nice to try that 1911. To all newbies like me out there, contact him if you need some advise about firearms and he has a lot of choices in the store too.

Well, I spoke to my wife, and she didn't sound very happy, she's been telling me many times in kinda dangerous to have firearms at home, etc... (you know most women always like this) although I explained to her about safety procedures...still she didn't buy it
So I need to be patient and convince her to get the OK later on, got to work on it
I'll let you know as soon as I got the "green light"

                  Tokie,

As I mentioned last night, I will be there all day Saturday. Bring your wife with you and we can all talk. I have done this many times and I am quite skilled at allaying fears about guns in the home being dangerous, and can show through simple rational statements that having a firearm in the home actually makes the home safer.

In addition, we have a number of single handgun safes which would most likely make her feel more comfortable with having a gun in the house if it was secured.

I'll try to do that, but as we stand right now is "cease fire", she didn't want to talk about it
