And you have to initially clean the firearm with something else to get it.....wait for it..... clean?

I've been using FL for about a year. When it is cold it stays clumpy and takes a while to melt/release. I have my doubts for storing guns with FL. Before I put my shotgun oiled up in a padded case and didn't have any issues. I stored my shotgun with FL and found light rust on the bolt and parts of the barrel. I'll probably switch to something else when I finish what I have left.
