    Tried frog lube

Heard a lot about it and came across some at Turners today. I have to say the feel and look of the gun afterwards made i nice impression on me. I am concerned about lack of lube on the rails. Does anyone add a drop or just run it plain FL? So far looks like i will be sold...

If it got treated correctly then you shouldn't need the drop. It's supposed to be in the metal and should lubricate when the gun gets hot. The hotter it gets the better it works.

By "add a drop or" sounds like you're thinking about using a drop of regular lube. Don't do that, the FL attacks it.

Even though the instructions, and the guys on youtube using it for jillions of rounds, say not to, I just have to put a lil' dab of FL on the slide rails. Can't help it! I spoze if I were out in the desert or someplace equally dusty, I'd leave it off.

Cool thanks for the input. Gonna try it on another gun tonight.

Once you start it on one gun, its on the rest. Great stuff. I even use it on my work shoes.

I painstakingly switched every gun to it and I've recently started experiencing failures in one of my guns. I'm not convinced it's not the Frog Lube so I stripped it off there and went back to Break Free and oil to see if it makes a difference. If it cures my failures, I'm sure it's probably because I over Frog Lube it. I melt it and get it good and juicy on the slide rails just because when it looks like it's dry, I panic and assume it can't be properly lubed!

Switched all my guns..including shotgun....used a toaster oven on low to treat the smaller parts and pistol slides. Love that the gun is dry...then starts to sweat when heated up. So much easier to clean now. Also my .22lr pistol have become less ammo sensitive and runs more rounds before needing a wipe down.
