    Lol @ these double/triple posts. I'm trying to be optimistic about it, but I'm also dreading not being able to set foot on a range again. Ah well, it was a good 4 months while it lasted...


    I don't always save the world, but when I do, it's in 24 hours or less...

              That's got nothing to do with panic buying.
              Every supplier I've gotten a hold of has said that they expect the ammo situation to normalize in February - when they get new shipments in.
              I use to be an anarchist but I quit that; there's too many rules.

                        I think it is going to take a while this time around.
                        If Swine Stein doesn't get this first version (of the new, old-version more restrictive than the original version-version) version she will keep trying. She is going to make this bill as harsh as she can, so if it doesn't pass she can negotiate it down and have it still end up restrictive.
                        I am thinking at least 18 months.
                        Meanwhile every shooting by a nut-case or 'banger across the U.S. is now involving the Bushmaster, whether it is a pump-action .22 LR, or a Red Ryder.
                        Just like that stupid Ammunition / reloading components bill they had a few years ago that wiped out every round of ammuntion from the shelves, and you couldn't get reloading components, primers for 18 months.
                        The smart ones save their money until the sea calms down, then buys everything they are going to need in their lifetime, while the rest of the people breathe a sigh of relief the ban has set then watches TV thinking they have all of the time in the world to buy all that cheap ammo.
                        My basement is FULL of AR's, mag's, AR parts, ammo up the wazoo, and enough reloading components for two lifetimes. And enough 80% lowers for my sons, grandchildren....(Let's hope they don't catch on to the 80% stuff).
