There is a whole sticky on that very topic from the mods. In short, if you don't like the price, don't buy it!

I have been warning people all week to not poop on peoples threads. Its not their gear to sell, so its not their place to put a price on an object.

well i was shocked i got a warning then 2 points!! I am not a trouble maker nor did i make a neg comment. but i did say "PM sent" and thats against the rules, just and FYI you can not say that.. geez i hope i dont get banned for saying it again!! it sems its a dirty word.. The problem is when ya a get a warning they dont tell you what you did wrong. so its easy to make the same mistake twice, which i did!!

The market place is so wrong. We shouldn't allow it. Post it on gunbroker.if you want to sell your lower for 2 grand. Or 6 grand for a stag AR

I forget about the PM sent thing. Its a way to tag the thread so you can get back and to tell the seller you are interested.

I do understand people use things like that for free bumps.

Maybe it would be best to lock the thread to only allow the seller to reply and bump it or add SPF or sold.
