So you picked LMT to sell and felt hurt enough by the low margins that you held a grudge?LOL these threads are classic. I own a business. If I set my prices and people pay that price, then I'm a happy camper. Prior to this I couldn't get anyone to buy LMT rifles. I didn't hear you guys telling each other to stop being dicks and pay full price for those guns. Oh no quite the opposite. I barely made any money on them and you'd brag to your buddies what a deal you got.
That is why I said forget it. Anything rare I have I have been putting on Gunbroker for a starting bid of 1 cent and no reserve. I just sold six 308 PMags for $598 plus $15 shipping.
When are you whiners going to figure out the demand is so huge that if one guy doesn't buy it, someone else will. This has nothing to do with gouging and everything to do with supply and demand? Answer: you won't. It's 2008 all over again, but better! Unless some bans actually pass. None of this money is worth that.
As I recall, you didn't even bother to answer back regarding an offer for trade/purchase for one of the LMT's.
Enjoy the up-tick and remind me not to buy anything from you're shop.sigpic

Its common sense.
sell today at a price you can afford to pay tomorrow
What if tomorrow you can't buy one?
I believe 10% has a good point, MOST LIKELY no items will be banned and NOTHING will happen. He doesnt know that for sure, nor does anyone.
There is another old saying,
Hope for the best, Plan for the worse.
yet another,
You get what you pay for. You ain't paying, then you ain't getting.Comment

I hold no grudges. I know the margins and I am not complaining.
The only people complaining are the people that aren't getting "what's fair". My point in the LMT example is these people think it is completely fair to get items for less and they could care less about what is "fair" to the dealer.
You never heard me complain or say, "You guys stop low balling me, it isn't fair you cheapskates. Someone should kick you in the nuts!"
My life is pretty easy. I set a price, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Prior to this panic, you could make me an offer and I could accept or reject it. None of this is personal. It is just business. At least for me.
Judging by these threads, some people feel a personal insult that demand is so high. All I can do is pass the Kleenex.
Forward me the e-mail again and I will check into it. Sometimes e-mails slip through the cracks. Sometimes people use invalid e-mail addresses or type their address in wrong on my online form and I can't respond.
No need to remind you about something you were never going to do anyway. Read this thread for what I think about the anonymous "never do business with you!" types.Last edited by tenpercentfirearms; 12-28-2012, 8:54 AM.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. Even the Brass sales are going Nuts.......Just saw AR uppers and BCGs' sell for 2X what they should on GunBroker.
On-Line ammo sales are out of stock.
Local gun suppliers have empty shelves.
CalGuns marketplace selling over-priced mags.
This is not a result of Liberals doing anything out of their norm.
Nothing like shooting yourselves in the foot.
As a lot of you know I sell tumbled Range brass here on the forum
Kind of a hobby
But the last week has been Nuts.............................
I can barely keep up with it all
Sales ...P M's ...do you have XXX ..Do you have YYY
Right now I have a ""waiting list"" for people wanting .223's
some people want to send me a deposit to hold the brass they want when I get more in ......................................
The other night I added a few odd sizes to the list and bumped it up
In an hour I had 9 P M's about wanting Brass--------------------------------------------------------------

Not anonymous. You've got my handle, we communicated and I'm as honest as it gets. I made my deal with someone else a few weeks back so I'm not bitter.I hold no grudges. I know the margins and I am not complaining.
