    no ammo

i went to ammo bros to pick up some ammo for my SKS. all they had was pistol 40 and 30-6 in bulk on display. i am not hard up enough to buy the behind the counter stuff. went over to turners chino hills and got 100 rounds 120 bucks . stopped at WM and asked if he had any tula. the shelf had no 7.62-39. they did have some 223 but even WM was so high i passed. he did go under the counter and sold me 4 boxes of tula at just under 6 bucks each . so i am over 1,000 rounds of 7.62 -39. i will keep buying a little here a little their.
sold my Mauser mostly because i only had 200 rounds and i do not want to invest in 8 MM.

It'll pass, once the hoarders have exceeded their credit limits.
Plus all the new buyers, most of whom will never shoot and need to replace the ammo they have bought.
Plus Xmas expense, plus looming taxes.

Yes it is (lucky for me, I love my .40 M&Ps).

Makes me reconsider getting my next pistol in 40 instead of 45....

During the last Obama scare I was looking to buy my first pistol and I couldn't find a pistol in 9mm or 9mm ammo to save my life. Ended up buying an XD40 and could always find ammo for it at a reasonable price.
