It's the only gun I've ever sold and I don't miss it one bit. Sight was was off and after 100 rounds or so I literally thought some parts were gonna melt!

I rock my keltec all the time. Its an awesome rifle. Its my knock around gun and its held in there. I was bumpfiring the crap out of it at last super secret zombie shoot and the firing pin cracked. I emailed keltec and i had a firing pin 5days later. Its exactly what i payed for.... fun rifle for what it is. Its in no way a replacement for an ar15.

Same here. I've never shot one and they may be great firearms (?) but i could never get past their looks.

Smoking deal Danny! I paid $400 for mine last summer. I was moving my grandaughter up from a .22 She had been reluctant to shoot any center fire until she saw that gun so I bought it. The one the OP linked sold for $1100+!!! I definitely wouldn't pay that for one but the way things are now I'm not sure I'd sell mine for that either.

The "C" model is not for sale in CA, cuz it can fire when folded! & also with the "D" plus the too short barrel.

I shot mine enough to like it. I wouldn't trust my life to it, but it's not meant as a battle rifle, after all. More like a truck gun that folds up into a neat compact package.

If I had to choose between it and a Mini-14, at least the Minis that I've had in the past, I'd take the Kel-Tec it being more accurate. I have other rifles that I can drag through the mud.

That being said, I wouldn't pay over $500 for one, either... and didn't. I'm sure its new owner didn't have a problem with the trade value I set on it, either.

See that's the thing about the SU. It's just a fun little rifle to shoot. People not necessarily "into" target shooting or plinking can pick it up and enjoy a day at the range.

It is light, it has low recoil, it is handy, it shoulders nicely for most people. People that aren't comfortable with trying heavier, bigger rifles, can generally have fun with the SU.

At least from what I have seen.

P2K was sellin em for over $700 plus tax & dros so that's par for the course with all the rest of the price gouging. I replaced mine with a mini 14 & never looked back.

The "C" model is not for sale in CA, (BECAUSE) it can fire when folded!

Sort of; they sold the C in a "CA" version and were calling it the C for California at the time - it includes most all of the features of the C model except the folding stock. It has the heavy 16 inch barrel and threaded muzzle of the C, bolt carrier, dust cover, sights, and case deflecting operating handle combined with the stock of the A with the same parkerizing of the parts. I know, because I own one. It was created as an alternative to the light barrel of the B (which I also own). You don't really see them too much; and I don't think KelTec has been making/shipping them to CA the past couple of years.
