Good Article indeed.. Now, it would be soooo Niceee if we could just walk like that here in the U.S of A.Originally posted by tankermanI think most folks bubba their AR's because they watch too many action movies, play too many video games and don't understand how to socialize properly, so they fantasize about being 'action hero's'. Kind of like little girls playing dress-up.Originally posted by Douglas711Is everybody stocking up on guys now? Just curious some gun prices seem to be getting high. -

I would love to be able to walk down the street with my AR and no one would care. Don't mess with the Jews, at least they get the idea of having an armed society. Hopefully America will get that way again.Comment

One of the things I wish our politicians thought of...the nation looked for a way to prevent future atrocities, and increased gun ownership seemed the logical answer. Regulations were relaxed and all teachers at schools and nurseries were armed in order to defend their pupils against future aggressions.Comment

well honestly, Israel is surrounded on all sides by hostile nations, and has been incessantly harrased since the beginnings of time. Not quite the same as we have it over here. If our day-to-day reality was anything remotely resembling that of Israel's I'm guessing we would liekly see similar habits reflected in our streets as well...Originally posted by Edward AbbeyA patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.Originally posted by W.H. It's not even 100 years old and they got it right. Funny seeing as how Israel doesn't fear it inward enemies as much as it's outward enemies. Don't get me wrong, it's essentially a war zone or potential war zone at any time and any place in all of Israel, but it's still good to know they have a level headed government (well, for the most part).
I think the most detrimental fact about guns in America is the irrational fear that people have towards them and the lies commonly spread by that fear. I would imagine that if every citizen was forced to take firearms training for one month gun ownership would triple nearly over night. Israel's forced service I think makes a lot of people aware of their simplicity, purpose, and general safety when treated properly (unlike the 'zomg a bulletz!!11! dn't look at it or it will killz your bab1es!!11!' mentality in America).
I've always respected Israel for that, though I HATE the article for calling M16's "assault rifles" or the use of terms like "clip".quemadmodum gladius neminem occidit, occidentis telum est. - Lucius Annaeus

Also, it's even more annoying but most Israelis I spoke to didn't know what I was talking about when I said magazine, but knew them as clips. These posts are Fiction.
