Recommend me a lightweight 9mm

I am looking for a lightweight 9mm caliber gun. I really like the LC9. Because it is light and i can carry it in my pocket (using tactical pants on job) or iwb without any printing. Any comparable gun to the lightness of LC9 but with a light/short trigger pull. That is one of the reason i sell my LC9. Its has a looooong trigger pull. Right now i'm carrying 1911 IWB.

My usual recommendation is the Kahr CW9, which I chose over the Ruger for it's better feeling trigger. It isn't much shorter, but it is a lot smoother. I find that smaller pistols handle easier with a DAO trigger. My CW9 shares CCW duties with my Springfield EMP.

Interestingly the CW9 and LC9 are both available for the same price ($369) in today's paper from MTG Firearms...the new store in Elk Grove

Take a look at the XD9 sub, I compared the CW9 to the XD9SC and they are almost identical except for thickness. The XD is ticker with double stack.

PM9 if you can get used to it - it's even more compact than the CW9. Might be a challenge for larger hands.

I ran by the store while I was out and handled both guns. The CW9's trigger isn't a nice as mine...a bit gritty...but it is $10 cheaper than the LC9. But I was handling the last one they had. The PM9 is better suited to pocket carry than the CW9

However a deal breaker for me did come up, the LC9 has a magazine disconnect safety...very irritating.

The problem I have with the G26 or the XDc is their thickness. When you are trying to go small, thickness really makes a large difference

Add- My next pocket pistol would be a Sig P239. Yeah, it's heavy, but fits my palm like a glove.

Is the keltec PF-9 have shorter trigger pull?
The sig 239 is heavy for pocket carry, and also have almost the same trigger pull with m&p shield. But not as long as LC9.
I'm trying to find a PM9 so i can check the trigger pull. But i didn't see any display in LGS here in sacramento.

Agree with this mostly. I feel the Kahr is a lot more deliberate. The EMP, if I could get a CCW in LA County, would be my conceal gun of choice. Familiar function, and I just seem to be able to shoot well with it. Not cheap, but if you get a chance I would check it out.

Galloway makes a kit that cuts the LC9 trigger pull almost in half. The Sig 239 is a very nice gun and actually my favorite but because of the weight I prefer the LC9 for CCW.
