To save money on parking, I parked right outside the gate on the side street. Spent that 8 bucks saved on a box of 9mm ammo :-).

I parked for free as well but in the parking lot. Rode my motorcycle.

Got there about 10:30 and reupped my NRA for the coming year, thus getting a free pass for the show. Went to Miwall for a case of PMC 9mm and also a case of .22 - Not many vendors selling surplus guns. The few that were had top-o-the line or junk. Not much in the way of mid range cold war shooters. A handful of ammo booths, surplus, and a few selling componets for the evil black rifle. A better show than I expected considering. Things are looking up.. for now. -g

I thought it was a good show. I was able to pick up some .45 mags and a scope. The jerky was good.

I cant understand how people are still in the dark on this concept.

Bottom line is that we need to start the letter and phone call campaigns to our representatives.

If they do not hear from us, they will assume that there is no opposition.

Coldwar is also there. I almost broke down and bought a Sig556. That thing is freaking sweet. Now that got to hold it, I will work more overtime to get that baby. There are also lots of handguns. Miwall had some Hodgon Powders, Win & Wolf primers, bullets, brass. Prices are ok. I spent about $400 with Miwall.

Was I the only one that noticed that Coldwar had the 556's for 1749? Don't they list em on the website for 1399?

Shoot, I didn't know parking was free for bikes! I should have ridden the VFR. On the other hand, not sure how I would have gotten $400 worth of Miwall ammo home...
Replenished ammo and shooting supplies, and got a cheap holster. Wish the vendor pool wasn't thinned by simultaneous Sac and SF shows, though.

I understand that. My question is why were the guns selling for almost 300 dollars more than the posted website prices? Are the California guns just that much more expensive?
