Nope. Shoot next to LEO's practicing to qualify, on occasion. Couple of times helped by timing them. They don't all know me. But most importantly, I have committed no crime. Have shot with LEO friends on occasion, doesn't even come up.
Course I don't go prancing up and down the main aisle twirling 30 round Glock happy sticks either. But even if I did....

And no, I've never been checked for anything like that, but I very rarely shoot on anything but private property belonging to a co-worker.

nah, not. me. Had a fellow shooter question an AK drum mag for a registered AW. no hassles for my 32 rd Mac 11 mags either.

That said, I wouldn't for a minute think I couldn't get arrested for anything a cop feels like. its a no lose proposition for him.

never had a problem with it. I doubt it would even come up unless you were caught with an illegally configured firearm or used one in a crime and they were just trying to pin more felonies on you. It would be practically impossible to prosecute without a credit card purchase in another state or video footage of you importing or manufacturing them...

Heck, even credit card receipts are meaningless inasmuch as you can buy repair kits galore.
I can't fathom how its possible to enforce this law with the exception of newer guns such as the XD and even then you are going to have to be incredibly stupid to get yourself busted.
