It has, but still cool .

Would that be considered an AOW or a SBR by BATFE?

I want one sooooo badly. And its a glock so you know it will be uber. That single firearm alone will take out armies, never jam, never fail, can be used as a pneumatic drill, clean out the sink, will shoot if accidentally dropped in molten lava with the lava obstructing the bore, will liberate nations, have a pleasant citrus scent and will come with an everlasting supply of kool-aid....
      but seriously I want one.

It's Magpuls take on the ARES FMG from the 80s.

The Magpul reps at the 2008 SHOT show said it's a non-functional prototype, they have no intention of producing it and they made it to show what they are capable of.

My guess it would be classified as a SBR. Short barrel has a stock, can not be fired when folded in half.

did anyone see the movie "Deal of the Century" (chevy chase, 1983)? this gun looks very reminiscent of the one (if you've seen it, you know) in that movie... very cool.

The Magpul FMG9 is based on the ARES FMG which was used in the movie "Robocop 2".
