    Need electronic muffs

I frequent a dairy for hunting and I need to get a set of electronic muffs as I want to use normal .22 ammo (I know, it is fairly quiet but I like my ears) in my rifle and revolver. I also want to pick off coyotes with my .44 and 30/30

Who makes a good set of electronic muffs? Who has any deals on them right now?

    Thanks guys!

I just ordered a pair of Howard Leight Impact Sports from LA Police Gear. They price-matched Cheaper Than Dirt's price of $42, and I don't have to support a company that screws over CA .

Only downside is they're backordered (but should ship in a week or two).

        Midway

I have used the Caldwell Sound-Right ES-85 Electronic Earmuffs (NRR 27) Green from Midway, and for the price they have been GREAT! Right now, they are on sale for $19.99.

I have a real nice set of electronic ear muffs that cost me around $200, and a set of the caldwell's. The expensive ones are better, but I keep grabbing the caldwells. Cheap batteries, no worry about loosing or breaking, etc. Two thumbs up on the caldwell.

How much did they end up costing from LA Police Gear including shipping and tax?

The HL Impact Sport is as nice as the $200 muffs! And LONG battery life! And input jack for ipod connection.

Thumbs down on caldwell's. I had one before, and everything i forgot to turn it off, the next time when I need it, battery are gone. Also, they are not lo-profile, so they are bulky to use with rifles.

Peltors are cheap from Midway. I have some and they work great. I am not a fan of earmuffs though (especially in the summer) because they get hot and bug my head. I usually just use the cheapo foam plugs.

Shipping was $6 (I wanted them to include it with another order but they screwed up, and gave me a shipping discount as a mea culpa). Tax being 7%(ish) I'm guessing it'll end up around $50.

+1 on the Peltors. I got a pair for Christmas last year and they've worked great.

I use Peltors as well. The 6s with ear plugs works very well and is very slim.

                          +1 for Peltor (ComTacs.)

Mine are now almost 15 years old and have been worn at numerous hunting trips, through my military service and more range trips than I can count. They've been worn in mud, rain, snow, sub-zero as well as 100+ temperatures.

Not a single problem. The only things I've replaced are batteries and hygiene kits...

The only downside is that they might not be as quiet as some other brands/models out there, but I always wear plugs underneath, so it has never been an issue for me.

I am on my second set of Peltor 6s. A battery leaked inside my first set and scrapped one headphone amp. You can pick them up from Grafs or Midway for $60 on sale not including postage.
