Awesome, I thought that it was gone. I have never been there and just went by word of mouth, knowing that its there is a good thing. Do you know what he carries at his location? Or is mostly repairs and custom stuff he does? I would much rather do business in the town I live in. As for the link someone posted above for custom blasting I have used him for a ppt and he is a good guy to deal with. His business is primarily monument work stone work ( headstones ).

I have to give Toro a try again. My first experience with them was poor to terrible. I was told later he only liked to deal with LEOs. I guess they had to revise that attitude to survive.

You would think in this town there would be more gun stores.

I guess I will go check it out with my leo buddies just in case LOL! You would think though that there would be, I remember growing up my friends shop was next door to the shootin shop and we did have the outdoorsman I think it was called in town as well. Those were the good ol days when I could still ride my BMX bike to the creek with my 22 and a back pack full of ammo, sorry goin off topic....

So Toro and Maraviov are doing business in this bad time in this country should be given a hand. The only shame I see is bashing the little guys, go to walmarts and big5 these guys don't need you! -- my two cents

Toro Arms in Woodland is great! Total of $50 to do a transfer, including $25 to the state and $25 to Toro Arms. They do collect CA Sales Tax on out of state transfers.

They closed their first location and now do not have a shop, just a small office space, no stock to display, but they can order anything you're looking for and do most of their business in Mail Order Transfers.

I bought three guns online over the last year and have had great service from Toro Arms. They communicate well by email, outside of office hours their phone is sometimes not answered. You can make arrangements to do business outside of their limited hours if you ask.

Anyone know the FFL that works out of his tombstone carving business on Road 98 a few hundred feet North of Main? In Woodland.

Transfered a gun there years ago but can't remember the guy's name for the life of me.
